Rather variable in the shade of yellow and the degree of maroon outer striping, Golden Splendour is fragrant and grows as high as 150cm once settled in. It prefers full sun, but partial shade is tolerated.
Species lilies are the originals, found in the wild throughout Europe and Asia. Their flowers hang down from the branched stems and the petals are strongly recurved.
Plant 12-15 cm deep from June onwards, fertilise lightly with a balanced fertiliser in early spring.
