With the widest colour selection, single tulips are the classic tulip we all know so well. They are great for mass displays and for cut flowers. Single tulips are so named because they have one set of petals, unlike double tulips which have two sets of petals. They generally flower from mid spring through to late spring with sturdy stems and stand up well to wind and rain.
